Excel 2007 is a very powerful tool for quickly and easily manipulating and analysing large amounts of numerical data. It is perfect for analysing class marks, departmental marks, attendance figures etc, in fact any large amount of data.
This self study guide will concentrate on using conditional formula – IF function – to derive grades from raw scores both on a class context and for a whole department/school basis. You will also examine an alternative method of deriving grades using a LOOKUP. You will then filter the list using the AutoFilter and Advanced Filter tools to extract some detailed information.
