ICT914 Access 2007 Manipulating data using Filters and Queries
Description
Queries are one of the most powerful tools in your database. For example, if you want to know how many pupils in your school have passed an assignment, how many gym instructors are part-time or how many DVD’s you have in your collection, you can build a query to fetch that data and total the numbers. Whatever data your database holds, queries are generally the reason that you would have decided to create a database in the first place – the need to manipulate data and get answers to quite complex questions within a few clicks. It is queries that make Access 2007 very powerful indeed.
This unit will take you through manipulating data by using sort, filter and designing queries.
