Excel is a very powerful tool for quickly and easily manipulating and analysing large amounts of numerical data. It is perfect for analysing class marks departmental marks attendance figures etc - in fact any large quantity of data. This unit will concentrate on using conditional formula the IF function to derive grades from raw scores both in a class context and for a whole department/school. You will also examine an alternative method of deriving grades using a LOOKUP. You will then filter the list using the AutoFilter and Advanced Filter tools.
